Shipping policy

Welcome to our online store.  Thank you for supporting small business.  We hope you enjoy your products as much as we do.  As a small operator we will do our best to respond quickly to your requests and orders.  Generally all order fulfillment is done on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

PAYMENT

At present we accept PayPal, Google Pay, Visa or Mastercard and Pacific Yak Angler Gift Cards at this time.  

In light of recent and ongoing tariff changes please review the following section before placing your orders

Taxes & Duties

All Canadian orders are subject to applicable provincial and federal taxes when the order is processed according to the final destination of the product. 

US customers may be required to pay sales tax  based on your destination state.  As of August 29, 2025 the US has removed the de minimis rules which means all products shipped to the US require duties to be paid.  As my products are all North American made and fall partially under CUSMA only 6% duty applies and I have offset this with a 10% discount on all US orders.  Certain OEM parts (all Old Town Parts) however are subject to 35% duty based on being manufactured in Asia.

Duties paid by Pacific Yak Angler are shown at checkout.  Any additional duties, taxes and/or customs fees that may be applied are the customers sole responsibility and will generally be collected upon delivery of your order.

  • Your order confirmation provides only the amount collected by Pacific Yak Angler and we do not provide nor assume any responsibility for any additional  amount of duties, customs or brokerage fees.

By completing your order you agree to accept delivery of your product and pay all necessary duties and taxes not administer by Pacific Yak Angler

Shipping Policy

Welcome to Canada eh.  We're not quite like the US as shipping is costly.  Recently we have had to move from flat fees to rates calculated at checkout due to significant increase in shipping costs.  We have also increased our cart totals for free shipping.

For now orders over $250 ($150 BC & $200 Prairie Provinces) ship for free.  For our US based clients orders over $300 ship for free.


Shipping & Delivery
The shipping method we currently offer is Canada Post Standard (3-9 days) with an option to upgrade to Express Post.  As Shopify has certain limitations for small businesses, if your shipping seems to high drop me a note as I do have access to some alternatives outside Shopfiy. 

We try to ship all orders within 3-5 days of receipt. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email stating so. We are unable to guarantee delivery times by our shippers.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Certain additional conditions apply to international shipments as follows:

  • We are unable to ship to  P.O. boxes and ship to residential addresses only
  • All orders are subject to verification prior to processing and shipping.
  • We are required to complete a customs declaration with the retail value of the item(s) purchased and they cannot be classified as a gift
