Originally growing up in BC we were excited to return to the Pacific Northwest in 2016 and return to our roots.  The outdoors has always signified quality family time and kayak angling is no exception.  Exploring the opportunities that our area has to offer and meeting like minded people on our travels, we fish pretty much everywhere we go.

In returning to the Island the opportunities for kayak fishing are endless.  We did  however find difficulty in sourcing kayak fishing specific products that would ship to Canada to be challenging and an absence of certain upgrades that I had been doing to my own kayaks.  Hence, in 2020 the creation of Pacific Yak Angler. 

Since our founding, our focus has been to serve the community with high value custom products and access to trusted brands via our site or direct product links.

All our custom products come from personal initiatives and we work diligently to source all our manufacturing and supplies from local small business where we can support families to create sustainable businesses. 

I am also committed to giving back to sustain fisheries for future generations and continue to support ongoing stewardship of fish habitat and stocks
