These custom rails have been purpose built and designed by Pacific Yak Angler to replace the factory rails. Our two piece design has been optimized to maximize holding strength and our added features reduce the need for other gear.
Unique Features:
- Increase track / slot length -35% more useable track!
- Two additional mounting holes for use for tethers or on boats and non Old Town Kayaks
Construction Features include:
- Top piece is solid 1/4" T6061 Marine Grade Aluminum (no machined slot in 1 pc aluminum)
- Starboard spacer provides capacity for small variations and changes in kayak shape
- Starboard is marine grade with advanced UV and temperature characteristics
- Updated attachment "holes" (versus slots) allow for clean look with reduced places for salt water to gather.
- Made with Marine grade T6061 Aluminum and Marine starboard these will stand up to the toughest environments.
These rails will install on other kayaks and boats with 18" flat areas!
